I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the pacific north west. Seattle has been on my wish list for a long time and finally I had the opportunity to visit. This picturesque city is the perfect place for foodies, outdoor enthusiasts and music lovers alike . Here are my favorite #eatcuteapproved restaurants!

Sweetgrass Food Co offers a fresh, whole-foods menu in a friendly and modern environment. I love their Build Your Own menu where I was able to create a salad with fresh fish and vegetables. They also have the most savory bone broth I have ever tried! For breakfast I recommend their Chia Seed Pudding with vanilla , raw pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and golden berries. They also serve an assortment baked goods made without refined sugar such as their chocolate coconut loaf or tahini-spelt cookies!

Rain Shadow Meats Located in Melrose Market, a historic automotive buildings constructed in 1919 and 1926, you will find an assortment of local meats, house made charcutière, and a custom curing room. I highly recommend getting a selection charcutière to go and having a picnic at Gas Works Park to take in the breathtaking views of the water and space needle.

Frankie & Jo’s is a must visit for their imaginative, plant- based ice creams! As someone who doesn’t consume refined- sugar, I was so excited to discover they offer a Chocolate Ice Cream made with organic dates from Coachella Valley, coconut milk, cocoa powder and salt.

Miro Tea is a tea lovers paradise. Located in Ballard, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seattle, Miro Tea serves fresh, artisan-quality teas in a vibrant and modern space. Upon entering the shop. you’ll find Seattle creatives quietly working with laptops and a beautiful wall of canisters filled with every kind of tea imaginable. I recommend ordering a pot instead of a cup. The tea pots are made of glass and are served over a candle lit flame to keep the tea warm. It’s a perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon or take a rest from perusing the boutiques on Ballard Ave.

Local 360 is a sustainable restaurant in the heart of Belltown with an emphasis on sourcing a majority of its ingredients within a 360 mile radius of Seattle. I highly recommend their Heirloom Carrot Soup with herbed oil & crispy Sunchokes or their Farmer’s Breakfast with poached cage -free eggs and Carlton Farms bacon! They also have vegetarian and gluten-free options available

Storyville Coffee. For coffee snobs like myself, head to Storyville Coffee tucked away in Pike Place Market. At this hidden gem you’ll find Seattle locals enjoying freshly brewed french press coffee while gazing at the waterfront views or sitting by the warm fire. This cozy and quiet coffee shop was my favorite place to start my day before venturing out to see the sights. Ask the barista about signing up for their mailing list to get a free bag of coffee. It was a wonderful way to bring a pieces of Seattle back home with me.

Pike Place Market

If you are someone who loves fruit, I highly recommend buying some locally sourced produce to enjoy as an afternoon snack at Pike Place Market. While the market is mostly filled with tourists, it’s a wonderful way to spend a morning watching the fisherman toss the fish while enjoying the most sweet and delicious fruit your tastebuds have ever tried! The vendors are always excited to give you samples and it makes for a great travel snack.

Visiting Seattle was such an incredible experience and I can’t wait to go back… especially in the summer! What are your favorite places to visit in Seattle? Comment bellow!
